Sympathizers of the Community!
The fragile situation faced by the Muslim Ummah is clearly visible at both government and community levels. Muslims are sobbing and it can be felt only by sincere and well-wishers of the Ummah. In this age of trials and tribulations, Muslims need the most to be served individually as well as collectively. It is also ardent need of the time to encourage those who serve the Muslim Ummah.
Therefore, it is the responsibility of people to care for all human beings with word and practice and to think good of them, to show them the right path and shun them from evil. This concept holds great importance in every religion and the act of well-wishing is promised to have glad tidings. This responsibility increases sometimes as per the plight of the needy ones.
People are required on humanity basis to help generously the destitute and poor persons so that they can also live a normal life and can gain the benefits of this world and the hereafter. The children who are deprived of education due to bad conditions should also be imparted education so that they live with honor in the society.
The worse condition of state of Bihar in India is known to all. As per the various Govt. reports, a big part of the population is living below the poverty line. Due to ignorance, they grow ignorant to Islam and die in the same state. Now, you should think for a while what can be the future of such people’s generation who are ignorant of Islamic fundamentals. This is the reason that due to the ignorance of the parents the entire family and society is also declining. Due to this situation, the educational atmosphere is nearly zero in Bihar. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Every child is born on the right instinct by Allah, but his parents make him a Jew, Christian or Zoroastrian. The hadith tells us that the parents play the most important role in child’s life. The ignorant and illiterate parents cause their children even the most horrible consequences.
The people here are longing for benefactor and savior who can liberate them from this condition and guide them to the right path so that their religious and worldly requirements are fulfilled. They are waiting for a slave of Allah who can endeavor and remove the darkness of ignorance and deviation. They are looking for a courageous man who can grant them peace and satisfaction.
Briefly, there is one village GarhwaBarehta in northern Bihar nearly 30 km away from the district Samastipur. The entire area is lacking education and it is facing the challenges of ignorance, bida’h, superstitions and false sects especially Qadiyanism. This has made the entire area vulnerable to false beliefs and thoughts. The social system has contracted many un-Islamic traditions which are imbibed in the people’s heart like the Islamic teachings. In this worst condition, the entire area has not even a single Islamic institution which can guide them to the right path of the Quran and Sunnah.
In this background, the area needed an Islamic institution in order to safeguard the Muslim community and to educate the generation on Islamic lines, so that the new generation can fight against the false sects with deep knowledge of true Islam and missionary spirit along with modern education. So, in spite of unfavorable situation, so Ulama who felt this pain in their hearts, founded Al-Imdad Educational & Welfare Trust in 2009.
This is a registered trust which is rendering good services at community and social levels. The trust emphasizes to establish Maktab in villages. The trust also manages to give reliefs in natural disasters and organizes Islahi (reformative) programme and provides medical care to the poor and sick people as well gives support to parents to marry their children. Promoting education in the new generation and distributing stipends to students, widows and the needy is the main objective of this trust. Along with three maktabs, the trust supervises Jamia Isha’atul Uloom Samstipur which was established in 2005. The madrasa is playing important role in promoting education and eradicating ignorance. Due to increasing number of students, Jamia needs to construct building. The Trust has no permanent source of income, all the expenses are met with the help of the philanthropists.
In this time of inflation, the religious institutes and madrasas are caught in trouble. They cannot work normally until their requirements are fulfilled by the rich members of the society. Therefore we appeal to all the well-wishers of Muslim Ummah to help this institution so that it can progress and render its welfare, educational, reformative and construction activities in a better way. You are requested to prove your attachment with Islam by extending help to the welfare, social and educational projects undertaken by this trust.
